Impact of a Transient and Asymmetrical Distribution of the Electric Arc on the Solidification Conditions of the Ingot in the VAR Process

Vacuum Arc Remelting is an important method of processing reactive and refractory liquid metal alloys, including titanium zirconium alloys.
